Summary Description:
This role is designed for an experienced HR Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for employees, manage end-to-end HR processes, and support HR operations through HRIS administration, compliance, and data-driven decision-making. Success in this role is measured by accuracy, responsiveness, process improvement, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve HR issues before they escalate.

What Success Looks Like

  • Delivering a seamless and positive onboarding and offboarding experience for employees
  • Providing timely, professional, and accurate responses to employee inquiries
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant HRIS data and employee records
  • Using HR data and reporting to identify trends and support process improvements
  • Proactively resolving employee relations and HR issues using sound judgment and critical thinking
  • Supporting cross-functional HR initiatives with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Contributing to a consistent, high-trust employee experience across the organization
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point-of-contact for employee inquiries, providing professional, timely, and customer-focused support
  • Manage full-cycle onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience
  • Maintain HRIS systems, employee records, and HR files with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity
  • Support benefits administration and core HR operational processes
  • Utilize HR data, metrics, and reporting to identify trends, support decision-making, and recommend process improvements
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support HR initiatives, workflow improvements, and organizational goals
  • Proactively identify, assess, and resolve HR issues before escalation using sound judgment and critical thinking
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state employment laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Support audits, compliance reporting, and HR projects as needed
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required
Applicant Requirements and Skills
Applicant must submit a full CV or resume and answer all questions accurately to be considered.
  • 3+ years of HR experience with increasing responsibility
  • 3+ years of HRIS experience and HR systems administration
  • Multi-state HR experience
  • California HR experience preferred
  • Experience leveraging HR data analytics for reporting and insights
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of confidentiality
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
